To ensure your Dodocosplay costume fits perfectly and stays comfortable, please follow our guide below to measure yourself accurately before placing your order.
💡 Crucial Step: Every costume has a unique size chart. Please always check the Size Guide on the specific product detail page. If you are unsure, contact our Customer Service for a size recommendation or custom solution!
1. How to Take Basic Body Measurements
For the most accurate results, use a soft measuring tape, stand naturally, breathe normally, and wear thin or tight-fitting clothing.
- Height: Stand barefoot against a wall. Measure from the top of your head straight down to the floor.
- Chest/Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest/bust (across the widest part of the chest muscles for men).
- Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your torso (typically just above the belly button).
- Hips: Stand with your feet together and measure around the widest part of your hips/glutes.
📌 Pro Tips:
- Measure 2–3 times and take the average for accuracy.
- Keep the tape snug against your body, but do not pull it too tight.
2. Costumes & Customization
Type A: Bodysuits (Catsuits/Zentai)
- Size Selection: Check the product page to ensure your Height + Chest + Waist + Hips all align with your chosen size. Do not rely on just one metric.
- Fabric Stretch: Bodysuit fabrics usually offer about 5 cm (2 inches) of stretch. If your measurements fall between sizes, choose based on your preferred fit (size down for a tighter fit, size up for comfort).
- With Soles: If your bodysuit includes built-in soles, please provide your exact foot length (toe to heel).
Type B: Non-Bodysuit Costumes (Uniforms, Armor, Robes)
- Size Selection: Most regular costume fabrics do not stretch. If your measurements don’t match the chart perfectly, we strongly recommend choosing one size larger. Larger garments can easily be altered locally, whereas smaller ones cannot.
- Custom Sizes: Custom tailoring is usually free of charge, unless your measurements significantly exceed our standard size chart range (our team will notify you if any extra fee applies).

⚠️ Important Note for Custom Orders: Please provide exact numbers in cm or inches (do not just say “I usually wear M or L”).
- Required for Custom Fit: Gender, Height, Weight, Chest, Waist, Hips, Inseam, Shoulder Width, Bicep, Thigh, and Calf Circumference.
- Absolute Minimum Required: Gender, Height, Chest, Waist, Hips.
3. Cosplay Shoes & Boots
- Standard Size: Simply select your standard US shoe size (please differentiate between US Men’s and US Women’s).
- Uncertain about US Sizes? Measure your foot length (a straight line from your longest toe to your heel) and match it to our size chart.
- Custom Boots: For boots requiring custom calf fits, please provide:
- Foot length & Foot width
- Ankle circumference
- Calf circumference (the widest part of your calf)
- Shaft height (measured from the heel up the back of your leg)

4. Wigs & Headgear
All headgear and helmets come in a standard size. Please check the suitable head circumference listed on the product page before purchasing.
How to Measure Your Head Circumference:
- Wrap a soft measuring tape around your head, starting from the forehead (about 2 cm / 0.8 inches above your eyebrows).
- Pass the tape over your ears and around the most prominent part at the back of your head (occipital bone).
- Keep the tape level and snug. Measure 2–3 times to get an accurate average.

💡 No tape measure? Wrap a string or a strip of paper around your head, mark it, and measure the length with a standard ruler.
