At Dodocosplay, we want you to love your cosplay gear. If things don’t go as planned, here is how we can make it right.
1. Order Cancellation Policy
- Within 24 Hours of Placement: You can cancel any order (Standard or Custom) for a full refund, no questions asked.
- After 24 Hours:
- Standard Items: If your package has not been shipped, our customer service team will gladly assist you in canceling the order.
- Custom / Tailored Items: ⚠️ Cancellations are NOT accepted after 24 hours. Because custom items are made specifically to your measurements, production begins immediately after this window.
2. Returns & Exchanges Policy
We offer a 30-day window from the date you receive your package to request a return or exchange.
👥 Eligibility Check
- ✅ Eligible: Items must be in brand-new, unworn condition, with original packaging and tags attached.
- ❌ Non-Returnable / Non-Exchangeable: Custom-sized outfits, personalized items, or intimate gear cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.
🔄 How Exchanges Work
If your item doesn’t fit, arrived damaged, or significantly differs from the description, you can request an exchange within 30 days.
- For Standard Costumes:
- Contact Customer Service to log your request (e.g., “Size exchange”).
- Ship the unworn item back to our designated address.
- Once inspected, we will promptly dispatch your replacement.
- For Custom Costumes: No need to mail it back! If a custom outfit doesn’t fit or arrives damaged, simply send photos of the issue to our team. We will review it and remake the entire costume or replace the faulty parts for you.
📦 How Returns Work
If you are simply unsatisfied with your purchase, you may initiate a return within 30 days.
- Contact Customer Service to request a return.
- Our team will send you an email containing detailed instructions and the correct return address.
- Securely pack the item and ship it back using a trackable shipping method. Please reply to our email with your tracking number.
🔄 Changed your mind? If you’ve submitted a return/exchange request but wish to cancel it, just contact us before the process is finalized.
🚚 Return & Exchange Shipping Fees
- Our Responsibility: If the return/exchange is due to our error (defective item, wrong item, or incorrect size sent by us), Dodocosplay covers all shipping costs.
- Buyer’s Responsibility: If the return/exchange is due to personal preferences (ordered wrong size, changed your mind, no longer needed), the return shipping cost is covered by the buyer.
3. Refund Process
Once your return package is delivered to our facility and passes quality inspection, your refund will be processed and credited back to your original payment method within 72 business hours.
4. Return Address
⚠️ IMPORTANT: DO NOT send your package to the address below without contacting us first. To minimize your return shipping expenses, we utilize regional warehouses globally. Our customer service team will provide you with the closest and most cost-effective return address based on your location.
